Cabbage Thoran

Cabbage - 2 cup, finely chopped
Oil - 2 tbsp.
Mustard – 1 tsp.
Urad dhal - 1/2 tsp.
Curry leaves
Onion - 1, diced
Green Chilli - 2, slit
Salt
Coconut - 2 tbsp., grated
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Heat Oil on a large skillet in medium heat.
Temper Mustard, Urad dhal and Curry Leaves.
Add the Onion and Green Chilli; sauté until the Onion turns translucent.
Stir in Cabbage along with required Salt and mix well. Cook closed for 10 min or till the Cabbage is done and all the moisture is evaporated.
In a blender add the Coconut along with Turmeric, Chilli powder and Cumin seeds. Grind this mixture to a fine paste. Add the ground Coconut paste to the Cabbage and mix well.
Remove from heat and serve warm with Rice.
